"Hail" mageddon in Brooklyn, New York

The New York City region, blasted by two tornadoes last month and one in June, was raked by a cluster of severe thunderstorms last night. The storms, whose lightning delayed the Vikings-Jets game, produced accumulating hail of nearly an inch in parts of Brooklyn. Their torrential rain also produced flash flooding.
