Adele reportedly gave birth to baby boy

Adele is reportedly now a mom.

People magazine has confirmed via a family source that the “Skyfall”-theme songstress and her boyfriend, Simon Konecki, have welcomed their first child into the world. It’s a boy, though no name has been released yet.

People’s item follows on previous reports, including one in the Daily Mail, that said the child was born Friday. The 24-year-old Grammy Award winner’s Twitter feed and Web site have been silent on the matter so far.

Adele confirmed in June that she and Konecki were expecting.

More details — including a name for the son of one of the world’s most celebrated singers — are hopefully forthcoming. In the meantime, let’s all just pause to consider how awesome “Hush Little Baby” must sound coming from the pipes of Mommy Adele. Kid, you seriously lucked out in the lullaby department.
