Hulk Hogan has filed a defamation suit against his ex-wife Linda, the St. Petersburg Times reports.
The suit targets Linda Hogan’s book, “Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes,” and the TV interviews she did to promote it, according to the Times. In the book, Linda Hogan accuses her ex of cheating, taking prescription drugs and abusing her, writing, “I was always afraid he would kill me in one of his rages.”
In the suit, the wrestler once again denies the allegations and claims they have hurt his reputation. Hogan has asked for a jury trial and an order to make his ex stop making the allegations in public, according to the Times.
The couple, who appeared with their children on the VH1 reality show “Hogan Knows Best,” divorced in 2009. Their settlement showed that Linda had received 70 percent of their liquids assets.
