Jada Pinkett-Smith dedicates new song, ‘Burn,’ to husband Will Smith (Audio)

Remember when various tabloids declared last August that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s marriage was kaput? Well, six months later, the couple is still together, still going strong.

As proof of their enduring love, Pinkett-Smith posted a new song about her husband to her Facebook page on (when else?) Valentine’s Day.

“With the major losses we have experienced in the last few weeks, we should remember our lives are worth living fully,” the actress wrote in a note introducing the song. This year has seen the passings of several celebrities, including Don Cornelius, Whitney Houston and Etta James.

The soulful ballad is called “Burn” and includes the lyrics, “Can you feel my heartbeat next to yours? / Just melt inside me to the core. / Stay here within me, never leave me. / I want to burn.” Pretty steamy, right?

Pinkett-Smith ended her Facebook note with these words: “Will, I love you. Happy Valentine’s Day. This is for you.” I demand a reply via song, Will Smith!

Listen to “Burn” below.
