Now, the new venue’s Web site is up and running, with 13 other acts listed through October, including Black Star on Sept. 18, Blondie on Sept. 20 and Cheap Trick on Sept. 27.

- BET announced in a tweet that it will be honoring Aaliyah next month, ten years after her death. The ahead-of-her-time R&B star died in a plane crash in the Bahamas on Aug. 25, 2001.
