Singles file: Beach House, Beyonce, Jeff Buckley

Beach House readies a new EP for Record Storey Day. (Benjamin C Tankersley/FTWP)

By Allison Stewart

A weekly playlist for the listener with a one-track mind.

Beach House: "The Arrangement"

Baltimore's finest debut a track from their upcoming "Zebra" EP, to be released April 17 in honor of Record Store Day.

Rox: "My Baby Left Me"

On her sublime debut single, the British/Iranian/Jamaican soul singer makes like an airier Corinne Bailey Rae.

(Beyonce and Buckley, after the jump.)

Beyoncé: "Baby You're the Only Man"

Though this unreleased, newly materialized Beyoncé track is of an uncertain vintage, if you guessed it was a "Dangerously in Love"-era outtake, you would probably be right.

Slim Thug featuring Ludacris, Dre Day and Kez:
"I Rep"

Remember 2005? Slim Thug does. The new, full version of this "Welcome 2 Texas" mix tape track strenuously evokes that year's best Southern hip-hop. Bonus points for the greatest, and possibly the only, Jamba Juice shout-out of all time.

Jeff Buckley: Various (live)

In July of 1994, a not-yet-famous Buckley submitted to a lengthy interview/live session with L.A. radio station KCRW, which just made available a studio-caliber version of the performance. Breathtakingly good, it's worth listening to in its entirety, though it really gets going around the 5:30 mark.
