Singles file: Rye Rye f. M.I.A., La Sera, CFCF

By Allison Stewart

A weekly playlist for the listener with a one-track mind...

Rye Rye featuring M.I.A.: "Sunshine"

It's at least three months late, but Rye Rye's newest is a summer jam if we've ever heard one.

La Sera: "Never Come Around"

Katy Goodman jettisons Vivian Girls for this Spector-ian exercise in classic girl-group pop.

CFCF: "Before and After Light"

Montreal-based electro producer Michael Silver goes atypically gloomy on this track from his upcoming "Fitzcarraldo"-inspired EP, "The River."

Band of Horses featuring the University of Georgia Redcoat Marching Band: "Georgia" (Cee-Lo Green cover)

Cee-Lo did a spot-on cover of their sublimely sad "No One's Gonna Love You" a few months back, and now BoH returns the favor with a Green cover so cheerful, you'll hardly recognize them.

YG featuring Snoop Dogg and Too $hort: "Toot It and Boot It" (G-Mix)

We're not sure just what this song is about, and we're not sure we want to know, but this new school/old school West Coast joint is one of the most mindlessly infectious tracks you'll hear all year.
