Police have arrested a 29-year-old woman in connection with an incident in which a woman and her three-year-old daughter were attacked with acid outside an Oxon Hill apartment, authorities said Wednesday.
Tikia Shauntice Anderson, of Greenbelt, was charged with first-degree assault and other related counts in connection with the March 29 incident, authorities said.
Cpl. Larry Johnson, a Prince George's County police spokesman, said the incident was believed to be domestic-related but he declined to provide any other details.
Police said in a news release the woman and her daughter were attacked in an apartment parking lot in the 1100 block of Kennebec Street.
The woman was burned on her face, thigh, neck and both of her eyes, police said, and her daughter was burned on the head and below an eye. Both were hospitalized in stable condition after the incident.
