TheWashingtonPostA child pedestrian was hit by a car at 14th and Upshur streets NW Wednesday morning, according to a tweet from the D.C. fire department.
Emergency responders transported the girl, who is between 10 and 12 years old, to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
