Jurors may need special decoders in upcoming case

Baltimore jurors in an upcoming case may need special decoders to decipher classified testimony if prosecutors get their way.

Federal prosecutors are concerned about classified information getting out during the trial of National Security Agency employee Thomas Drake, charged with illegally keeping classified documents in his Maryland home, lying to the FBI and allegedly leaking classified information to a reporter.

The secret codes would need to be approved by U.S. District Court Judge Richard Bennett. If that happens, jurors could follow along while the press and the public remian mystified, reports the Examiner. For the full story, read here.
