A Chantilly teen has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of his father during a domestic dispute late Friday night, Fairfax County police said.
The suspect, Gbassay Koroma, 18, has been taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center after police found 40-year-old Francis Koroma suffering from trauma to his upper body in the family’s apartment in the 5100 block of Woodmere Drive.
The father was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital before succumbing to his injuries early Saturday morning, police said.
