Man, 53, shot dead in Glen Burnie

Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 53-year-old man in Glen Burnie.

Anne Arundel police officers responding to the 1500 block of Furnace Avenue shortly after 3 p.m. on Thursday found Ray William Collingnon dead of an apparent gunshot wound to the head, according to a press release.

Someone found in the residence has been questioned, police said, but nobody has yet been charged. The shooting appears “isolated” to the residence, according to authorities.
