Police seek Old Town bank robber

Alexandria police are looking for a suspect who robbed an Old Town bank this morning.

A man walked into a Bank of America in the 600 block of North Washington Street, at 10:41 a.m. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money, police said. The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a thin black male, about 6 feet tall and is between the ages of 30 to 40 years-old. He was last seen wearing a two-toned knit cap, dark pants and dark jacket.
