Virginia baseball holds bloody World Series celebration

I don’t know what the heck happened in the celebratory mush of Virginia players celebrating the Cavaliers’ crazy ninth-inning comeback win to clinch a College World Series berth. The closest thing I’ve found came from the Daily Progress, which wrote that “Blood, sweat and tears ensued as the dog pile kept the best season in program history alive.”

Well, here’s the blood, anyhow. Not sure whose blood it is, but it ran red.
