“Escalator Collapse at Peepy Bottom” by Elliot Seibert will be on display tonight at Whitlow’s.There are so many highlights for tonight’s Going Out Guide Happy Hour at Whitlow’s on Wilson. Let’s go into list mode:
- It marks the official opening of Whitlow’s roofdeck, and the weather is playing along nicely.
- There will be plenty of free food and cheap drinks — free pulled pork sandwiches, wings, chips and salsa and veggies and dip (while supplies last), and drink specials that include $1 Coronitas and $2 PBRs.
- Prizes! Two pairs of tickets to see Kenny Chesney and the Zac Brown Band at FedEx Field on June 4 and a $50 gift certificate to Whitlow’s.
- And last but not least — Peeps! The winning diorama and its creators, as well as several finalists and their dioramas, will be present at Whitlow’s. It’s your chance to get up close and personal with the Peeps.
