Bravo’s Andy Cohen reunites with DC Housewives: No hard feelings!

The Real Housewives of D.C. — minus Michaele Salahi or any made-for-TV meltdowns — reunited Friday thanks to one man: Andy Cohen.
The Bravo network executive behind the “Housewives” franchises and other guilty pleasures has become a pop culture phenom himself; in something like the Dick Cheney veep search, Cohen cast himself as the network’s nightly talk-show host and on-air pundit of his own programs.
Which made him the star attraction of Bethesda Row’s three-day fashion event last weekend. The line of fans Friday night stretched around the block, clutching copies of his new memoir, “Most Talkative”; groupies gave him custom t-shirts, flowers and even original artwork. “It’s mazel mayhem!” proclaimed Lynn Blitzer, who sat with husband Wolf and Cohen during the runway show.
Also in the front row: Four of D.C.’s erstwhile Housewives — Mary Amons, Stacie Turner, Lynda Erkiletian and Catherine Ommanney — who said they showed up out of affection for Cohen.

The Tiger Woods comeback tour came to Georgetown Monday, where the 36-year-old golf legend stopped for some do-gooding before heading to Congressional to promote his tournament next month.
Despite his personal scandal and lousy playing recently, Woods is still the biggest draw in the game: $58 million a year from endorsements, according to Forbes.
“You have a lot of friends in Washington and we’re here to support you,” Cafe Milano owner Franco Nuschese told him at a private luncheon co-hosted with BET founder Bob Johnson. A relaxed Woods (tan suit, blue shirt, no tie) posed for pictures with donors and talked about his foundation’s new focus.

Update: Jenna Talackova, transgender contestant, wins Miss Congeniality at Miss Canada pageant

This year’s scorching beauty pageant controversy (because there’s one every year, isn’t there?) has ended peacefully. Jenna Talackova, the contestant originally ousted from the Miss Universe Canada pageant because she was not born a woman, was a top 12 finalist in the Saturday night competition in Toronto, reports Reuters — and though the 23-year-old did not win, she was voted a “Miss Congeniality” by her fellow contestants. After Talackova, who had gender reassignment surgery at 19, protested her March disqualification, calling it a “human rights” issue, officials reversed course, and the Donald Trump-owned Miss Universe organization rewrote its rules to allow transgender women to compete in all of its pageants in 2013. Will any Canadians remember the name of the lady who actually won? She’s Sahar Biniaz.

Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan: How they pulled off their surprise wedding
Breaking news: Mark Zuckerberg wore a suit!
Oh, and he got married.
The Facebook billionaire, 28, topped off a remarkable week with a surprise wedding Saturday to college sweetheart Priscilla Chan, 27. A hoodie was good enough for his pre-IPO meeting with Wall Street investors, but Zuckerberg — either by his own choice or at the insistence of his fiancee — donned a big-boy suit, white shirt and tie to mark the occasion. Yes, some things are sacred.
The wedding announcement was classic Facebook: Zuckerberg simply updated his profile to: “Married Priscilla Chan.” The news had almost 850,000 “likes” Sunday evening.
The couple pulled off the stealth nuptials by inviting 100 guests to what they thought was a surprise party for Chan, who graduated from medical school at the University of California at San Francisco last Monday — which also happened to be Zuckerberg’s birthday. “I’m so proud of you, Dr. Chan :).” he posted during the commencement ceremony.
