A panda cub, born July 29, is held up by staff at the San Diego Zoo after a routine veterinarian exam. While the staff has not yet determined the sex, they were able to take measurements of weight at 2.2 pounds, and all indications are it appears to be developing normally according to zoo officials. This is the sixth giant panda born at the zoo, the most born at a breeding facility outside of China.
