Temperatures continue their slide tonight and remain cold through Saturday, setting the stage for Sunday’s winter storm.
The NWS forecast is consistent with ours: 1-2 inches of snow and sleet, followed by a period of freezing rain and, ultimately, rain by Monday morning.
You still have most of tonight to enjoy unseasonably mild conditions, but early December reality returns Friday, with temperatures stalled near 50 as rain gradually moves in.
As a razor sharp cold boundary collides with warm, moist air at its southern reaches, a serious ice storm is in the making from Dallas to Nashville.
