‘Stars for Trayvon’ fundraiser for Martin’s family
The ‘Stars for Trayvon’ fundraiser was a night to honor Trayvon Martin and support his family. The slain teen’s parents Tracy Martin and Sabryna Fulton attended with their attorney Benjamin Crump. Other guests included Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, Rep. Corrine Brown (D-Fla.), Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas), Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall. WPGC 95.5 radio personality Guy Lambert served as the master of the ceremony. A silent auction was also held with autographed memorabilia from R&B singer John Legend and a signed basketball from the Washington Wizards. The event was held at the Shadow Room in The District on April 25.
