Why He Matters

Amodei is a newcomer to the House, winning his seat in a special election held on September 13, 2011, to replace former Congressman and now Senator Dean Heller in Nevada’s second congressional district.

Amodei served in the Nevada Senate, representing the the Reno area for more than 10 years, and previously served in the Nevada Assembly.

He serves on the House Judiciary Committee and the Veterans Affairs Committee.
